Australia doesn't seem to have a wealth of good strikers at the moment

Im sorry i will have to disagree again!

We have great Strikers! Kewell would get a walk up game for England if he was English and the same as Viduka.

We are better placed than ever before Especially in the Striker department, its just Viduka never seems to want to do the hard this for Australia that he does for Leeds, and he looks lazy! Thats what pisses everyone off, the fact that we know how good he is but when he take the field he looks like Tottenham Hotspur! (useless)

Viduka hasn't performed for ages, Kewell has only recently seemed interested, and Aloisi and Agostino rarely get extended opportunities to prove themselves. Apart from that who is there? Archie Thompson? Damian Mori?

I don't think Viduka would get in to the England team straight up. If Robbie Fowler and Andy Cole in their prime couldn't get a game, what would get Viduka in?

you have to be joking creedy, viduka would not walk in to the england team because there is rooney, owen, beattie, andy cole (and that hurts me to say) and they are all better players than mark "fat aussie bastard" viduka so he might not even make the squad

and i agree that kewell would make the squad but i doubt he would walk in to the team (who would you drop in the england team for kewell?)

At his best Viduka would get in as Heskey gets games for England and we all know how shit he is. And i dont know why the Fat Aussie bit was used as i believe you are an aussie!

Kewell would Walk in EASILY!Rooney and Beattie have only played a couple of games for England and have not played decent oppostion (and gm if you bring up Macadonia or Liecenstien i will puke!

And i dont want to go back to the most recent game between Australia and England as i dont want to piss you off!

Oh i already have!

Kewell would walk into the England side as they do not a top class left sided midfielder. I know Kewell has been playing in a more forward position recently but is also a excellent player on the left wing and that is where he would play for England.

Can't agree with that, Hargreaves is only a fringe player for England and when he does play I am yet to see him make any impact and as Kewell is undoubtly a world class player I don't think there can be any comparason. Also i'm not convinced left wing or left midfield is Hargreaves best position either

i agree Geordie given time he should be a fairly good player. But a the current time Warnie is right, Kewell is far superior.

I have to say Kewell is superior at this point in time. And I also agree that Hargreaves will become a star in the not too distant future...

Anyway, based on the massive score-fest against Lichtensteinerberg, England could do with SOMEONE who knows how to play as a striker with Michael Owen...

I think Kewell would definitely get a game for England, while Viduka would be a fringe player - like Emile Heskey, etc...

I Wish Alan Shearer would make a comeback to the national team. Shearer and Owen with Rooney/Scholes just behind them 2 would be unreal
