major deal?????

newcastle chairman freddy shepperd and vice chairman douglas hall have left KL yesterday before the final of the asia cup to fly to LA to tie up a major deal

i rang last night but i could not get hold of my contact due to them been on a plane but this is the first time in a while i haven't found out about a deal at newcastle and this has me thinking as man ure,juventas and celtic are in america while barcelona are in LA (could this be kluivert??) but it might not be a player it could be other buisness

if i hear any other news i will post ASAP

Geordie, If they were going over for Kluivert it would have been a wasted flight as he was refused entry to the US due to a previous criminal conviction. He landed in the States with the rest of the squad but had to turn around and come home...
God they have some stupid rules!!!!!

have just spoken to someone from the club and all the rumours about a sale from the club do not seem to be true so that leaves buying a player (i personlly think we will sign kluivert) or something which i have read is that freddy shepperd and douglas hall will sell there shares in the club to a wealthy buisness man (could be true as i have been told by the club that a few people have inquired)

we will have to wait and see but i have been told it will be big for the club whatever it is and as soon as i hear i will post on here

i have not heard this from the club but a couple of the english papers are quoting the newcastle chairman as saying that no players are leaving newcastle because we are a buying club not a club that sells its best players and that he is in america to tie up a major commercial deal

but if i hear for myself i will post on here
