Not sure why that's funny, he's a striker and he's paid to score goals.
Very promising start to the season for Chelsea, buried the Anfield hoodoo and will only get better once the team starts to gel a bit more.
btw very dubious penalty retake decision by the ref, it's not like Cudicini actually saved it, Owen missed by a mile !!

Thats why Scum fans and united fans should be very worried, if Chelski can win about 70%of their first say 10 matches that will give their new players time to gel as soon as that happens if they are 1st or 2nd they will not be headed, they have the best list in the league, they are strong everywhere.

Looks like spurs have to wait another 13 years to beat the bastards.

Creedy, I bet you beat them (Chelski) this year........

They are a team of champions - but are they a champion team???

All will be revealed over the next 37 matches or so.... Smile

Was it that long ? That was quite an amazing record considering Chelsea were only an average team for a large part of that time, usually finishing in the bottom half of the table. I remember going with a Spurs mate to see Chelsea v Spurs at Stamford Bridge in about Jan '92. It was a freezing day only about 3 degrees and Chelsea ended up winning 2 - nil I think it was, vague memory of Andy Townsend scoring one. I talked my Spurs mate into standing in The Shed with me, poor bloke couldn't say a word for obvious reasons. He ended up marrying an English girl and still goes to every Spurs home game, no wonder he gave it to me when they eventually beat us.

I hope Collingwood can get a similar streak going over Carlton. Laughing Laughing

Was it that long ? l:

In the league it is, we beat Chelski 2 years ago 5-1 in the league cup semi final but always seem to come up short. Both games last year we drew even though we dominated both games, but that means nothing if you cant score.
