So boys and girls what are your predictions for who will win the US Open?
my choice is the number 18 seed Max Mirnyi to win the doubles and singles. _________________ John Anthony is the Million Dollar Man |

Who's he playing doubles with?
My Choice would have to be Sebastien Grojean (or however it's spelt)
But i hope the Scud can pull it off |

Marat Safin has pulled out because of a wrist injury.
and to gobbles Max usually plays with Bhupathi who he won it with last year. but it would be great to see him play with Lleyton Hewitt. |

i'd love to see scud kick butt and win it and he's definately capable! Although i think A-Rod is gonna be tough to beat. If Andy can hold it together each match and not lose his temper with himself then he'd be my pick to win it.
As for the women, well i'd dearly love the tiny 14th seed to win as she enters the twilight of her career however i'm pretty sure that wont happen so i'll be cheering on Jennifer and Kim. I think it could be Kims tournament.
As for Max, well he's a top chance in the doubles but i cant see him taking the singles crown. He has had some good form of late and i think he made the round of 16 or quarters at Wimby, however I still think he's a bit raw, and too up and down in singles at the moment. Stranger things have happened though. |
