Obviously 4 of the red listed players will play seniors. Nice to see Rusling & Johnson back. And of course, McCarthy getting another game under his belt.
Port are a stand alone side (I think?) so does that mean that the Pies are restricted in the number of senior list players who get a game? |

You know, I remember all those posts from last year, after the VFL Magpies were introduced, saying what a bad idea it was throwing these young boys to the wolves, how badly the whole thing had been botched, etc, etc.
Now we've got an entire starting line-up (pre final changes) from our list ready to play, and they are winning games. Most of them have seen senior action already, and it's safe to say that many will see a lot more in years to come.
Long term, this might be one of the best decisions the club has made in recent years. _________________ "The greatest thing that could happen to the nation is when we get rid of all the media. Then we could live in peace and tranquillity, and no one would know anything." - Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen |

Fit and in form, that line up should be able to beat Melbourne on Monday. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Its a real pity though, hardly anyone bothers to turn up and watch them |

Certainly coming down from this one. One thing I'll always been thankful for having our alignment with Williamstown is that they taught how good it feels to beat Port Melbourne (Prelim final 2003 still one of my favourite footy days) |

Pebbles isn't injured. I saw him train last Saturday flat out with the senior team.
I'd say given his age, they will hand pick which games he'll play and not rush him back unless he's 100%.
One more significant injury and its sadly curtains for him. |

if rocca trained at 100% flat out, wouldn't that mean he is 100%?
yea i know he is old like 31,32 sumwhere around there and this is likely to be his 2nd last or last year.
yea i know pies are going to play him for certain games but he has missed how many weeks wouldn't it be a good idea for him to play at least half a game in vfl |

if ruzza gets thru the game and plays a blinder he could come in for the swans game, which will then put more pressure on rocca. |
