I could actually watch that, I've always been interested in Greek and Roman mythology, is the full movie on youtube?

Yep! It’s up in pretty good quality here: https://youtu.be/P14Zxr3WOSw

If you’ve seen the '80s Clash of the Titans (another classic!), it’s pretty similar vibes. Used the same animator, too.

Found a hidden gem.

The FBI Murders (In The Line of Duty).

A film from 1988. My brother has this thing about B-grade films from the 80's and 90s. But this one is actually pretty good. There was a film series called In The Line of Duty which based their films on true stories about some pretty big incidents. This one is the first in the series and is based on the 1986 FBI Miami shootout.

When it started I was thinking wtf is this? And it has the dad from Family Ties in it. But it sucked me in and I actually enjoyed the film and ended up reading up on the actual event that happened.

It's a short film, running around 90 minutes.

Here's the wiki page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_the_Line_of_Duty:_The_F.B.I._Murders

I remember watching it as a kid.
Thought the skeleton army was the coolest part of the film.

I tried to watch Prisoners of the Ghostland. Nicholas Cage flick, an apparently highly rated Japanese director doing his first English Language film.

I have NFI how to describe it other than I think David would like it. Mad Max meets Cowboys & Aliens, add a Japanese schlock horror overlay and a couple of tabs of acid and you get close.

I bailed 30 minutes in.

Went to the flicks for first time in I don’t know how long! The lost city. So bad! Sandra bullock has sadly gone all kidnap Botox and filler, looks Like Micheal Jackson. Changing Tatum plays dumb so well in so many movies, I’m starting to believe he is, Harry Potter was brilliantly crazy, and I’m not a Brad Pitt fan but I loved his character in this. 3/10

Thanks for the heads up! Hadn’t heard of this one, but I do know the director, Sion Sono – his stuff is pretty “out there” even by my standards. Laughing Not sure it’d be my cup of tea, but might be worth a look.

It's dead set right out there. Without spollers, cage is strapped into a leather suit with small sensor activated explosive devices built in. When his left nut got blown off due to some activity in the groin vicinity and came bouncing toward the camera i called it quits.

Watched Predator last night. It really holds up well, i was surprised.

Nothing on TV tonight, apparently there's an election on.

Since the sequel to Top Gun is about to come out, I rewatched the original and loved it.

Bring back that lovin feeling.

Just finished watching Dune (part 1).

Glad we had the stereo sound, the soundtrack really adds to the film.
It’s long at just under 2 and half hours but didn’t drag.
Quite a few things to get your head around but I enjoyed it.

using up 3 year old gold class tickets on the new one tomorrow afternoon! Hope it’s at least enjoyable. I’m not a Tom fan these days, hard to forget his nutty rants and, well, Scientology! I have to say though, that song which I’ve been singing loudly since I got up is one ofthe best bits! His off key singing and interaction with goose, love it!

Kelly McGillis “I didn’t get invited back because I’m old and fat and I look appropriate for my age”! It’s a shame, she really was a big part ofthe movie for me. For a start she seemed age appropriate for her character, where as nicolehorriblekidman was far too young to be a brain surgeon in days of thunder!

I did Google Kelly, and I’ll be $%$ed if Ill look that old in 4 years! But she’s happy, that’s all that counts!
