How is it possible that people watched this game and couldn't fit Swan into their top 3? I'm gobsmacked. |

I used to be undecided, but now I'm not so sure.

3. Ball - Tough and hard in the packs, fierce tackling and setup many forward thrusts.
2. Sidebottom - Classy performance, kicked the game breaking goals.
1. Swan - Mister everywhere, workman-like performance, some nice centre clearances too.
Also good were Heater, Jolly, Reid, Dids & Cloke _________________ RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.

1. Raffle it... ummm Jolly.
The side is so damn even it's hard to pick a top 3, there's always someone you want to put in.
Honourable Mention : Sidebottom.

3. Sidebottom (Didn't get a heap of the ball, but he played predominantly in the forward line & you can't fault a small forward who kicks 5).
2. Swan (Won the ball, cleared the ball, ran hard & set up goals).
1. Johnson (BOG in the 1st half, nullified Harvey & hurt him going the other way. Was kep quieter in the 2nd half, but that meant other Pies players were freer to contribute). _________________ Swan is down, Swan kicks the goal! And everything here will be a Magpie celebration!

Hard to give out votes as there were many Pies players who were good but Johnson was our best when the game still had to be won. Faded in the second half but his work was already done.
Bally also killed it for us all night _________________ go pies |

with at least 10 players being unlucky, man, its hard to pick BOGs for this side at present, everyones contributing.
