Inaccuracy, turnovers at pivotal moments. We are not far off. We'll learn a lot. The difference was they were accurate when it mattered and we were not. The wheel is turning...

I agree, the thing that really frustrated me was it seemed to be the Collingwood of old bombing it into the 50. I thought we'd moved on from that. I know the Cats are a class outfit but it was frustrating to watch. I'm hoping we can learn from it.

Totally agree, it was a carbon copy of the saints game. No re-jig of anything during the game, just history repeating itself. Why didn't we continue to play our "new collingwood" gameplan/style?

We failed again, mentally, on a big occasion.

The massive question is where was the dare?

It just seemed like we were happy to slog it out, no one wanted to run an carry the footy like we have been the last few weeks.

And our footskills were so bad..... oh so frustrating.

Heath and Maxy our biggest offenders.......and goal kicking Sad

Learn from this defeat, and get our concentration up next time.

^nicely said mate. still early in the season.. and seriously weve done really well to get where we are

i know its a cliche but if anyone was told we 7-2 and 2nd everyone would have taken it, especially if we said the only 2 we'd lose would be against the saints and cats

you'd be deluded at the start of the year to think we will overtake the saints and cats. and that has proved to be right. we are the third best team in the comp.

actually second best, the saints have seemed to have fallen off, but im convinced they'll still finish top 4 and cause some damage.

Cocky Heath and his week in week out f&*k-ups! Lets his good stuff down.

Geelong had Mooney leading out of the goal square, and we had ?

Geelong are a really, really good polished side. They played our style for 3 1/4's.

Geelong went down the corridor, and we went w i d e.

Collingwood were also "out coached".

If you have a very good team (e.g Geelong) play down the corridor versus a very good team (eg. Collingwood) playing wide along the boundary line, I reckon 9.5/10 the team playing the corridor will win. Simple really.

Just goes to show MM fears the possible 'turn over' - he should have more faith in his players Smile
