Swan was BOG until half time. Then cruised. Hope it doesn't spoil his Brownlow chances.

It's after games like these that I wish we had a 5-4-3-2-1 voting system.

3. Pendlebury
2. Wellingham
1. Cloke

Hard to leave out Blair, McCaffer, Swan, Harry, Heath, Presti, Tooves...and another half a dozen.

Very tough this week.

Blair stood out - his game was as good as Swan's, which was very good. Cloke clunked it all night...should have kicked 8+. Pendles got a lot of it and used it well. Wellingham didn't get quite so much ball, but when he got it the hurt factor was high, plus his tackling was excellent. But five doesn't go into three, so:

3 Pendles
2 Cloke
1 Blair

Obviously there were plenty of other good performances in a 98 point win. Only real disappointments were Lockyer, and to a degree, Medhurst.

3. Cloke - could have kicked ten if he'd kicked straight, and marked strongly for four quarters

2. Blair - Far and away the best game I've seen from the little guy yet - I know that's not saying much since he's only played a handful of games, but he really impressed.

1. Wellingham. I love this kid. What a future star!

3. Blair (as a 3rd or 4th gamer, I don't think you'll get a much better performance - outstanding)
2. Cloke (kicked them when it mattered, set up a few and was simply a colossus in the fowardline. I'll forgive the few misses when the game was dead)
1. Pendlebury (was everywhere and ran as hard as I've seen him, had a bit of the fumbles early though)
