Rough one, i'm going to be a bit different.
3. Nathan Brown - Towelled up the only player who could win it for the Dogs.
2. Ben Reid - Epic in defence
1. Nick Maxwell - The General was everywhere.

3. Swan - the man's a footballing genius. That sidestep and turn goal in the final quarter had to be seen to be believed. He is certainly the best player in the AFL and the damn umpires better acknowledge that.
2. Maxwell - when the pressure is on true leaders emerge. Maxy is in total control at the moment.
1. Ben Reid - I could have nominated half the side for this, but Ben Reid's marking exhibition tonight was the best I've seen from a Collingwood defender since Billy Picken. |

Agree totally, I thought they along with Luke Ball were the most influential players on the ground. _________________ RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.

Too many others to name the unlucky ones. Just a great team effort.
I will mention Dawes though. That's his best game in over a month. Got up the ground, took some good marks on the lead (10 marks over all), and don't recall him spilling one. A very good performance. _________________ Well done boys! |
