I have emailed 5 times over the past week and can never seem to actually speak to anyone at the club regarding membership at the moment. I think they may have stuffed up my home game reserved seating at the G and I'm trying to sort it out!! Any suggestions? Getting very frustrated Confused

I posted my reserve seating form on the Tuesday after the Monday memberships went on sale. Have many of you be told your seating alloction yet?

Also I e-mailed the club a little while back and got a response but the response didn't answer my question at all.

Which isn't really good enough IMO. I'll try and call them instead I think.

Anyone who works in admin knows that phone calls are far more effective than emails .. like for example right now, I am here on this message board, and not working on the problems my clients have emailed me. Geddit?

I would ring the club.

I had to call last week to sort out a membership. Was on hold for no more than 5 minutes and the guy I spoke to was very helpful.

Any emails I get at work are usually responded to within an hour. But yes, phone is a more efficient means of communication when the club is probably receiving a few thousand a week.

New seat allocations for first time reserved seaters won't be till February I was told. And for those in that boat, membership cards will be mailed then.

Thanks guys, I had tried calling a couple of times but was on hold for so long I had to hang up. Finally got through this afternoon at 4 minutes to 5! Hopefully all sorted but really disappointed at the lack of service with the email though, after all members are the shareholders of the club. Even an automatically generated response to say thanks we've received your email and we're backed up but we'll respond as soon as we can wouldn't be too difficult and much more professional than just ignoring it!
