Didn't even realise it was on, was one of those annoying shows they pumped up for months and months with no date. |

Not sure if the formula one series has been mention, but it’s really good , I have totally changed my opinion of Daniel Ricardo! He was treated like shit! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Netflix, WWII In colour, my hubby loves war docos, I’m so sick of hilters face, yet i started watching when it was pouring at the beach house and-got hooked. (Usually I wait for him to doze off and switch channels!) so much I had no idea about. Hard to watch at times.
The bit about Hiroshima and Nagasaki was really interesting, I’ve always argued in favour but now I will for a different or extra reason. The comments by the Japanese commanders are really scary. After Hiroshima one said if we sacrifice 20,000,000 more we can still win. So the bombs didn’t just save US lives, it saved countless Japanese too. I didn’t realise that there was an assassination attempt on Hitler. It was really interesting. Now I need one for World War I ! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

The Book of Boba Fett on Disney Plus.
If you watched & enjoyed The Mandalorian, you will like this.
First 2 episodes have been great, as usual visually great but also good storytelling. Temuera Morrison once again plays Boba Fett, supported by Ming-Na Wen as the assassin Fennec Shand (also seen in the Mandalorian). _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

The Responder. About as good a writing and acting as you get these days. Even Martin Freeman's Scouser is good. Perhaps the script could've been dialled back a bit as it's very draining, though I realise that's half the point. Serious quality. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

^Having said that, I did just read some complaining about his accent. Bloody hard to do that broad, though. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

The woman in the house across the stew from the girl in the window. I think! Anyhow you will know it when you see it, very long title! It’s only 8 1/2 episodes, brilliant acting, the lead is a stinger, amd you don’t see any of it coming. Really good! Netflix! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Just watched the HBO version of the West Memphis Three story. I think there was a thread on the WM3 in the VPT at one stage.
The astonishing thing is just how frighteningly poor parts of the US were/still are. Just so hopelessly underclass and oppressive, which might have been the narrative of the doco, but a quick search shows is also fact for that part of the US. You can't crap on about being 'free' and 'blessed' with that level of deprivation on your doorstep. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Looks good. Kristen Bell is the lead, Veronica Mars (which I loved) with lots of alcohol.
