I'm expecting to see an improvement from Marty in 2013. He was decent in his first year back in the game. He started off well, but he tapered off in the second half of the year, but I think this can be explained because of fitness, confidence and the fact that the game had changed so much within the three year period he was absent.

Hopefully, in his second full year back, he'll improve his fitness and become a better player this year. I hope the coaching stuff uses him as a tagger. I thought he did really well as a tagger on ANZAC Day last year when he tagged Brent Stanton out of the game, but the club didn't continue to go down this path for Marty.

Thanks for posting that Stui, I don't get on to the club's website much, even though I know I should as every hit means $$ for the club.

Marty's my favourite player so it's good to see that he's up and about and keen to have a good rack this year. I hope he does bring some of his originality and skill into his game this year, at times last year it seemed that he'd been given a tagging role and he looked like he thought that's all he was allowed to do. He'd panic if he wasn't 6 inches from his opponent. It'd be good to see him get in front of the ball and kick some goals this year.
