Buckley (N)? |
Even Molloy wasn't a complete failure.
And Starcevich, Alexander and Lehmann to the Brions worked out ok for us.

Oh, and Phillip Walsh... that even had the added benefit of screwing Richmond on his way to the Brions.

Jarrod Molloy was one of my favourite players when I was younger. Always knew he'd put his body on the line for the team!

We've done well out of this deal. Traded a player of very little potential for one with some. Now it's up to Pat to make the most of the opportunity.

Compared with Mal Michael, yes he was.
And go check out his stats in the 2002 Grand final. A liability that may have cost us a flag.
I will always remember Jarrod Molloy as a dirty Lions player

Important to note: he will grow his hair again!
Also wants to play in the midfield, or even half back more than forward, and that's what he's discussed with Collingwood at this stage. Played there for just about the full season last year. So there's another taller mid at 190cm. Our Pendlebury back up if you will .

Not sold on him listening or watching him. Hope he gets in the gym and gets more professional.
Sure he has plenty of upside. Hope he makes the most of his talents.

Welcome to Collingwood Patrick Karnezis
I am a little weary of this recruit, but I'm also aware that we didn't lose too much for him either so there won't be a great load of pressure for Karnezis to succeed right away. I hope that his lack of progress of Brisbane was only because of his key motivation to return to Victoria and play for the Pies.
It's great that he's at the club he always wanted to play for, so I guess he'll work his hardest to improve substantially from his Lions days. I don't expect him to be in the senior side immediately, but hopefully he works hard enough to earn his place in the senior side.

As a type, I very much like this signing. At 190cm with good pace, good skills and the ability to play forward, wing or half back, we have a player who is a chance to find a spot in the team and give us that bit of extra height and versatility. We lost a player who was unlikely to find his way into the team, so if it works, great, if it doesn't, nothing lost.
