Announced on The Club just a short time ago.

The Prince of Perth will now be with us until the end of 2016.

By my count, that's now 10 best 22 (or thereabouts) players to re-sign since the evil Nathan Buckley single-handedly destroyed the greatest team that ever was on Saturday September 7th 2013...

Clearly the hate for Bucks is strong. The players aren't buying into the game plan. We should have paid Dale the 750k and retained Didak and Jolly. They were premiership players, and once you're a premiership player, you should be best 22 for life. Mick should have been given extra years after 2010. We lost 2011 because he was so sad that he forgot how to coach. Who could blame him? These are the reasons we are sliding down the ladder at a rate of knots.

Oh wait....

Yes, he was so sad, he forgot to replace Hawkins' injured opponent (Reid) with a fit one (Tarrant), who's own opponent had been subbed out of the game. As you said, who could blame him?

Good little spot on Faz on the club tonight too. Those who thought he might be a bit of an upstart (guilty your honour) saw that he's a pretty level-headed intelligent young bloke. Doesn't take life too seriously but knows where he wants to get too. And seems very well settled in Melbourne town and at the Westpac Centre. Well done Faz on re-signing.

Happy with that, still so much untapped potential in the Fas.

He's in our best 22 with more flexibility in his game to play up the ground.

I remember an interview from fellow west ausssie Wellingham with Faz a few years back... Wellers was talking himself up and Faz down... who came back with "i can play - mate" A few years on it seems Faz can indeed play and wellers is not sighted!

And long may it continue Smile
