Post subject: AFL Live Pass. Question?Reply with quote

I'm going to Bali Friday (sorry guys) and want to watch the Pies v saints next to the pool over a few bintangs on the iPad.

Not sure if it'll be on Australia TV over there. Alternatively I could go to a bar and watch it but I'll end up hammered and stagger home in the wee hours and my missus will get the sh1ts which won't be a good way to start my holiday.

AFL live pass is $4.99 for the week but says it's for Australia and NZ only. Does that mean if I purchase here before it go it will work over there. Or will it know where I am and won't allow access?

Anyone know the answer? Apreciate any info.

i see that this round is free for subscribers. if you do some digging on the afllive app you will evetually arrive at the internal subscription section.

Looks like you are in luck and can watch every game live for free during indigenous round! http://watchafl.afl.com.au/ is the link you need and I think it the Free Weekend Pass option

Pretty sure you need wifi to watch, I got it for the first time last week and I was impressed, dropped out a few times but I can live with that.

I don't think you can use the AFL app overseas. I have never been able to although I could use it here.

Used it in Europe last week, had to pay $15 for a weekly pass but worked well on IPAD on WiFi....watched other games, edited highlights and replays.

I'm in Kanazawa Japan & my daughter logged us into the AFL site to discover what has been noted here - that is live free Streaming this weekend. I'm using my new iPhone so if there are typos etc I apologise in advance.
Go pies & Sionara!

It's on the Australia Network all over Asia. Look for a pub with an Aussie flag outside.
I'll be watching it from 5.30pm in Beijing at a wine bar owned by two Queenslanders.
6 VBs for 100RMB, that's $2.88 each, far cheaper than you can buy them in a pub next to where they're brewed!!!!

The waitress will love you long time too!!

Tell them defender sent you, and he wants his watch back.
