Watching bits of the game today I admired the Roos coaching team, Hardwick was out coached! Dees were harder at the ball and wins in the Key mach ups, Vines on Cotchin and Hogan beating Rance on those important occasions gave them a mental edge over what looked like an even contest. Roos worked hard to provide a contest in the open areas thereby limiting the Tigers tranferring the ball quickly to Riewoldt and the other tiger forwards. Tigers had no idea how to overcome the stranglehold.

Tiges not too dissimilar to the Blews in where they're at. Years of finishing middle of the road (albeit a Prelim appearance), have reached their zenith with middle aged players and not much youth coming through to get excited about. Welcome to another decade of mediocrity Laughing

Port Adelaide scary good in that first quarter.

Lake gone for the night with a medial ligament strain.

Without Lake and the already injured Frawley it exposes Hawthorns only weakness in the tall defender department.

I was hoping for a tight and exciting contest but it'll take something special for Hawthorn from here.
