The Bulldogs were the highlight of the day. That's a huge win for them against the Swans and I think they could be a serious chance for finals especially with the favourable draw they have. They remind me of Port Adelaide of 2013 under Ken Hinkley.

The Cats and Tigers are both struggling at the present time but the Cats deserved to win today. Richmond are going nowhere under Hardwick and questions will be surely raised by the club hierarchy about his performance and direction as coach.

Brisbane are useless and without any good key position players they were always going to struggle this year. It's hard to determine whether the Gold Coast will improve or not after an insipid start to the year.

North Melbourne are the most overrated side of the competition. I still think they'll play finals on the basis that they have a very experienced and solid list but they're making up the numbers this year and following on from this year I think they're in trouble long-term. Hawthorn were as professional as ever tonight but I think Hodge and Lewis will be facing the sidelines in the next few weeks.
