Melbourne 9. Swans 49. Half-time. Melbourne's lowest half-time score against the Swans since 1914. Good to see that rebuild is starting to come together for them.
Meanwhile, Freo are threatening to break the game against Essendon open, late in the first. They lead 27 to 13, after conceding the first goal. |

4 goals to Freo in the second quarter and we haven't reached the 8 minute mark. They lead 51 to 13.
Swans lead 68 to 15.
In case it hasn't been mentioned, GCS finished up losing to Adelaide 119 to 78. |

Freo continues with its strategy. Blow the opponent out of the water in the first half, and then put the cue in the rack late to freshen up for next week.
Lose % but managing list beautifully.
Two games clear.
Think we may be hearing the Freo theme song about 5 on GF day. |

It's a very long season and their list is old. I won't be surprised if they start losing some of dads army through injury as the season progresses.
Ah how i remember our 2011 glory days when you'd go to the footy knowing we were going to win. Until late season when injuries started taking their toll and one naughty boys off field indiscretion and the ego of players and coach destabilised our tilt at the flag.
