I reckon Dave the man is spot on, we need to come out the ramp like a train, don't let the, get a sniff. Don't want a close one, and that wind is not going to help.

Another important game for us, it's a bit like holding serve after getting a break.
That great second half come back against North means nothing if we can't beat the Dees today.
We should win, no excuses here, Go Pies. |

Need this win especially with our tough second half of the season coming up against most of the 'top' sides. How many changes are we likely to make?
I have a feeling Oxley will miss out. He looked flat and dejected last week and could probably use a rest anyway. Pendles on the other hand is seriously hampered by a foot or ankle injury because he's not running well and not playing at 100% (even though he's trying to) I wonder if we'll rest him and give Broomhead a crack. Then we'd be relying on broomy and kennedy in the middle so I wonder if the coaching staff would prefer an injured Pendlebury who they can play in bursts in the middle and rest up forward where he can kick 2-3 goals. |

If we win we're fourth. If we lose we're sixth. That should be enough motivation to get us up and about.
Loving the look of our back six. To paraphrase Peter McKenna "They're a group of deadest goers'

Another year of mid-year exams where I won't be attending today sadly due to an exam tomorrow but nevertheless I'll watch this game at home for the second year in a row.
I'm actually feeling quite nervous about this game to be honest as Melbourne are capable of playing good football so I think DTM might be right that we need a fast start. I hope this isn't another slog again like it was last year.
If we maintain what we did in the second half last week against North I fancy our chances but if it's anything like the first half I'm going to be nervous. This is a big chance for us to maintain our spot in the top four and go 7-3.

Spot on, unlike last week, we must start well, hard and fast, tackle the crap outa them, come roaring out, they will be competitive for a while, but then we must take over with our better class, and strangle them fast. Dont give em one sniff, and stir up ol Harry too, upset him for psychology reasons.!
Pies by around 23 points, on this windy cold day. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Just remembered that we have Horrible Harry to contend with.
Wonder if there will be an all in incident if he gets a friendly shirtfronting, just for old times sake. |

Will it be racism if we boo Him?
