Friday.

Collingwood v. Hawthorn

MCG. 7.50

Let's hear ya !!

----------------------------------

Again. If you're going to open Pre match threads, include the details.

Donny - Bbmods.

------------------------------------

It is the big one next week.
This is the game we need to win to give us great belief!
Normally I would say drop Blair. But after last nights game he should stay for the moment.
Goldsack is the person who got the most questions marks from last night.
He fumbles.
But he plays big and small and can play a multitude of roles.
Reid for Goldsack maybe considered but does that make up too slow and top heavy?
I don't believe Jessie White can play the Leigh Brown role. So leave him forward.
We need another decent midfielder so Greenwood must come in.

I don't think anybody deserved to dropped after last night's effort, but I'd like to see Grundy and Greenwood come into the side just to provide stronger bodies. Also, I'd like Sinclair to come in against Hawthorn, to provide a little extra speed, if he plays well on the weekend. As for who we drop to make way, maybe Seedsman?

Nah, you wouldn't play Sinclair after just one game in the VFL mate, too early. Same for Ramsey when he returns.
Greenwood, Reid and Grundy are the ones who will be considered for seniors especially if the first two have ripper games tomorrow.
I have to admit that Seeds and Goldy need a break in the reserves.

This will be Sinkers first game back into the VFL. Can't see him making the seniors for another month or so.

If Kennedy gets 30+ touches and snags a few crucial goals in a BOG performance for the magoos he should be considered for the vest…

If Greenwood gets through a full game he should be considered. They (dorks) have mature guys in the middle and his bigger body will help out heaps.

Sinlcair and Ransay will come into the mix in a few weeks time - as would Reid. Best to be conservative with Grundy - but if he is good come in then maybe he comes in for White? However I would prefer Grundy to come back with Reid then dropping White would not have as big an impact to forward structures.

Therefore…

In - Greenwood
Out - Seedsman (needs a good run in magoos to build his confidence)

This one for me. I doubt I would actually drop Goldy .I think a forward move would be better. Broomhead and Seedsman will probably make way for Greenwood and Reid and perhaps Oxley may need a rest to refocus.

Yep, agree with that. Exciting to have a near full list to choose from in the coming weeks (barring further injuries/suspensions of course!) but with that comes the stress and responsibility of the club getting the selections right.

Goldy and Seeds were the most disappointing last night, again. Obviously it depends on tomorrow's game but I reckon the replacements will come from Greenwood, Reid, Marsh and maybe Maynard.

Might watch the VFL game before making comment on any possible changes but given the efforts of the team last night it's hard to see too many.

We are going to get thrashed next week so don't bother bringing players back from injury, keep them fresh and ready for Port the following week
