I somehow dont think that Danks will worry too much about this ban. No other club would have hired him anyway...

Funny how the AFL can ban dank but not essendope, but then again dank doesn't effect their bottom line, this is right up there with being fined for not tanking.

Yep so Dank spent most of the period when he administered banned substances at Essendon as opposed to Cronulla. During that time he didn't administer any of those banned substanced the playing list at Essendon? Oh yeah, but he injected the coach and the CEO with some drugs. God I hope WADA get that club.

Dank being banned form the AFL... pfffft. Fine. I doubt he's crying too much.
It's the ASADA and WADA bans that could **** him up. But so far WADA and ASADA have been too weak to get him into the courts. |

Why? He never gave them anything illegal so why should he be banned?
A very hypocritical move that they hope makes people think they did something without waking up to the reality that he has been banned for running an illegal program but they haven't done anything to those who took the illegal substances... |

What exactly was he banned for ?
It can't be for administering illicit substances because they found essendope not guilty of that.
So again what was he banned for ?
For not fronting a AFL hearing as requested ?
For not wearing an appropriate tie in public ?
For not praising the AFL investigation ?
This to me is fantastic news. Now he has threatened the AFL and Gill the dill with countless lawsuits.
Meaning he will have to produce evidence in a court of law documenting exactly what was administered and when and how much.
This is the proof he says he has to clear the mess up.
I for one want everything out in the open.
I want him to confirm exactly what the players were administered
I want to know exactly what Hird knew and approved
I want to know how long this doping took place for
Dank was never going to get a job anywhere again anyways so really he can't be feeling hard done by.
IMO if he had any proof clearing the players and himself he would have provided it by now and sued everyone who slandered his so called good name
The sceptic in me wonders if this is the SFL trying to pacify WADA before the essendope hearing starts |
