+1 lost too many friends to that @%$& desease. Roughy not being there does take a lot out of the game. You want to beat the Hawks with their best player in. |

Hope he recovers well, not good at all, wish him the best. But, i guess it does help us this Friday night, he would have been hard too beat. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Wish him all the best but let's not over do it.
Acting like it's a death sentence isn't helping anyone and in reality if it's a low grade melanoma most likely he wont suffer any further illness.
Treatment available for this disease has improved greatly over the last decade/few years and survival rates have increased with it.
I'm more surprised he isn't right to play but I guess it has to do with the area the mole was removed. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Melanoma is plain bad shit. I find it difficult to believe someone has talked it down as a "Mole" and it's low grade. When you lose people you know to melanoma you treat it as bad. Hopefully Roughie gets well. |

You don't take anything potentially cancerous lightly at all because the stakes are simply too high.
All the best to Roughie. He's a super player and as stated by others one of the real good blokes irrespective of who he plays for.
Hope to see him out there sooner rather than later. |

you're hardly going to be alright to play after you have had something cut out of you. i'd imagine he'd be feeling a bit of pain right now. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Players play through pain and injury all the time.
If the mole was on a less sensitive area than a lip say like a chest and depending on the size of tissue removed I could imagine someone playing. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

heard it on the radio this morning. Happy to have him not playing against us but best wishes for a good diagnosis and quick recovery. Melanoma is a cnut. If it's spread you're futterly ucked, it's just a matter of time. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
