Going to be a tough game especially playing at Etihad rather than the MCG but I like our inclusions even though we've lost good players in Adams and Elliott.
The Eagles are favourites but we're definitely a chance if we provide the same intensity that we saw against the Dockers and Hawks a few weeks back.

Prefer Blair to start. He's one of our few forwards who's an accurate set shot for goal. Although I guess he could be handy in the middle in the second half when the pace has slowed down a bit. |

Pleased to read that Blair is the sub and BK/Seeds/De Goey/Maynard are starting…
We need pace in this game and with Moore out we look a lot better balanced team. Just too many talls last week.
Every line has a tough job ahead - Backs are facing one of the best fwd lines in the comp. Mids is where the game we be won or lost and our depth will be tested. ANd our fwds need to be kicking straight and making the most of opportunities!
No time for bombing to guys with 2 opponents on them please. 90 tackles and lots of contests is our game - if we can stick to it we will win - if they get out the back and let their runners get time to deliver they will carve us up -- need to bring the pressure for 4 quarters… _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

Since when was Blair ever "handy in the middle"? Around 2011-2012 I picked Blair as a natural midfielder being played out of position up forward. I was wrong. Flat wrong. Get over it.
Blair has resurrected his career with a decent (not great, decent) first half of the year as a small forward. As a midfielder, he's better than Brown or Frost or maybe Cloke, not too many others.
I'd have made Seedsman the sub and started Blair up forward, hoping he might snag one or two with Elliott out, but perhaps starting Seedy is a better idea. His pace against the Woggles will certainly be handy if he can get a bit of the pill. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

Got to stop Priddus. Need to do what the Hawks did to Fyfe. Make every possession a painful one. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |
