am heading up to see what may be the last rites being played out. we haven't played at the scg in 15 years or something ridiculous like that.

Last time Collingwood played the Swans at the S.C.G in 2000.

Nathan Buckley, to Paul Licuria, to Anthony Rocca who kicked a goal with 16 seconds left on the clock to win the game for the Pies.

the smaller scg may suit pk's tank and ability to play as a mid. i'd like to see both white and cloke brought in but not sure at whose expense. probably moore. the swans' backs won't be able to compete with their mobility.

I would not play PK.

I would only Drop Moore for White IF it was between the 2 of them to play the 2nd Ruck.

Swans have not been playing Great but we been very Ordinary in the last month.

So Swans by at least 20pts

Everything is against us.
Played poorly the last two weeks.
Not sure if Adams is going to play.
Forward line not settled so if Morre is dropped, who will play 2nd ruck?
Playing the smaller SCG ground which will suit Sydney.

So Collingwood by 20 points +

Out: Moore, Scharenberg, Marsh

In: Cloke, White, De Goey

Marsh will get plenty of opportunities next year....ditto Scharenberg (with us or Adelaide), as will Moore.

Right now our obligation is to pick the best possible side to win, not to pick a team to give young players senior exposure.

Well we are not playing Finals this year so I would to mind at all playing the Kids.

VFL games mean more now

No doubt Pink Ducks will come out seething on Friday, after their pathetic 2nd half against Geelong.
It's been that long since we played at the SCG, that we'll have little idea of how to balance the structure against its smaller dimensions.
Just remember to corale Flog Franklin on his left side, and he might try to dummy right, then go left again.
Still not convinced we have a suitable player to run with him anyway.

Anyhoo, just have a crack at it for four quarters...

I'll have to go with your memory Dave... Frost still the best option.
Even so, I'm concerned Frosty is getting tired this year.
IIRC, he does hold the current "most consecutive games" streak for the club?
