I hope we bottle the whole game up in one part of the ground.Make it boring,because Ethihad is and so are the bleating Dogs who despite having a catchment area 3 times bigger than anyone bar Interstate and Geelong still want us to bail them out. The sooner they and the Saints are gone the better.

It would be nice to see close to our best 24 picked for this game, in readiness for the season proper.
A midfield group comprising Pendles, Treloar, Adams, De Goey, Greenwood, Sidey, Crisp and Varcoe is by far the best in the AFL. Can't wait. |

Doggies are on world record tackling pace early in their game against Melbourne.
Get Wittsy in there with Adams Greenwood and Blairy early and see how they like tackling bulls with sharp horns and elbows and 'don't argues' |

The Dogs at Etihad? We know how well our last three games there vs the Dogs went (including last season's pre season game). If it's best vs best, we won't get within 30 points under the roof I'm afraid.

nab 3 is usually the pointer to what we will see in round 1. should be a good game with a full set of midfielders in action. will be interesting to see how we utilise them and rotate them through either the forward or back lines.
