#TreloarMania

PART 2.

Today was part 1, but Saturday will be his real unveiling.

He will get better every time we see him but he'll show his talent straight away against the Dogs.

The Dogs at Etihad? We know how well our last three games there vs the Dogs went (including last season's pre season game). If it's best vs best, we won't get within 30 points under the roof I'm afraid.

This is so lol it ain't funny!

It's a call re: Etihad Stadium, not our squad. We're not a cohesive unit yet (many new faces) and we haven't proven we can keep up with the Dogs under the roof yet. 5 goals at ES is like a 5-10 minute burst, so not the thrashing you may interpret. I hope I'm wrong, but this early in the season (i.e. pre-season) I think we'll struggle there vs the Dogs who play there every other week and play their best football there.

So we'll probably only win by about 40 points I reckon.

Of course I do; Whenever they play Collingwood.

Having said that, I do agree with your earlier post.

Can't wait for the big debut.

Also lots of players potentially playing for their seat on the plane for Easter in Sydney.

Got my fingers crossed for the youngsters Maynard, Gault, Moore, Coxy and Frosty in particular.
Expecting the Caff and Blairy to be big contributors again.

We have a huge edge in the tall department, and their threat is their back line experience, and quality run/deliver to Stringer and Co.

Their mids can jump out of the blocks, but if contained early tend to slow down pretty quick.
The Bont is an absolute star.
McCrae and Jong are often fast starters, lock on them and limit Stringer I think we will win.
Wittsy BOG.

Hmmm, surprised Varcoe and Faz weren't given a week off, they've had a pretty full preseason playing every match. Ditto Greenwood from memory.

Looks like Moore and Gault to share the ruck duties. Good opportunity to see how Gaulty goes in this role. Of course, Blair might have put his hand up for the ruck support role.

Good to see Williams resurrected from the grave. Rumours of his demise clearly premature.

Elliott, Reid, Sack, White, Grundy, Broomhead, Howe and Goodyear missing from the squad. Probably our strongest NAB squad to date.

Yes Goodyear & Broomhead are missing but hardly cemented a spot, not even in best 25

So if White and Cox are not playing, does that imply that neither will be playing Rd 1?
