Hmmm, surprised Varcoe and Faz weren't given a week off, they've had a pretty full preseason playing every match. Ditto Greenwood from memory.

Looks like Moore and Gault to share the ruck duties. Good opportunity to see how Gaulty goes in this role. Of course, Blair might have put his hand up for the ruck support role.

Good to see Williams resurrected from the grave. Rumours of his demise clearly premature.

Elliott, Reid, Sack, White, Grundy, Broomhead, Howe and Goodyear missing from the squad. Probably our strongest NAB squad to date.

Yes Goodyear & Broomhead are missing but hardly cemented a spot, not even in best 25

Same goes for White, Sack and possibly Howe.

Not making judgements, just noting who was missing. Didn't even look at the draftees.

After Greenwoods injury vs the Dogs in the last ore season game at the same venue, I'd rather we opt to put him in cotton wool until round 1.

After watching the injury list from the Tigers Port game at this concrete cesspool, any chance we can forfeit our match? So many sore bodies as well. Can we move this game to our training deck? Seriously.

Anyone know the story with seats for this game? I am a Legends member and I think I get in free. It's just I want to sit on level 1, not up in the clouds. Will it be free seating on level one? Should I just get there early? Ticketmaster site was no help... Completely useless with no info to work out if booking a seat would help.

Im with you. Been said a few times now and illness has gone through the squad from Wagga and is the reason Grundy is out.
Id rather play the vfl boys against the dogs and just move on.

Think we've been beaten by the Doggies the last three times we have played them (if you include last year's NAB cup game). It's Treloar's first game in the senior team and we have to show to the football world that we have improved on last year and we are better than the Bulldogs, who are vying for a top eight position, like us. It doesn't matter that it's not for points. We have to beat them wherever we play them and no excuses if we lose. If we play not to get injured, we will probably lose and get injuries anyway. If Davoran is a good fitness guy he will prepare the team appropriately and get us through the game.

Not sure a NAB Challenge game is our only opportunity to show the footy world we've improved. And it's yet to be seen if we are better than the Doggies and the results of NAB3 are hardly definitive.

I couldn't disagree more. Its a practice match. Our first two games show we're on the right track. A bad loss to the Dogs and we undo our confidence and the Dogs become a bogey team unnecessarily. Pros: Treloar gets a run. Cons: ES concrete surface, injuries, sore bodies, injuries, did I mention injuries?

And we shouldn't forget injuries.

I'm sorry but that's ridiculous - who gives a chit what "the football world" think? All we need to worry about is being cherry ripe for Round 1.
