Hard to pick a team for this but I'd go with
Williams Brown Ramsay
Langdon Reid Oxley
Varcoe Sidebottom Crisp
Fasolo Cloke Swan
Gault Moore Blair
Witts Pendlebury Adams Treloar
Grundy DeGoey Greenwood Macaffer _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

We pretty much have a full strength team to choose from so we have a lot of options at the selection table and we're in good form too which is great. Hard to know who comes in and out of the side. |

Sensational!! The game's been stopped for a Collingwood head count!! 19 on the field!!!! 23 in the squad!!!
I know...too many to squeeze into a "22". Lovely indicative mistake to make here _________________ I'm not the pheasant plucker I'm the pheasant plucker's son, and I'll be plucking pheasants til the pheasant plucker comes! "Try saying that with a mouthful of peanuts!!" Lou Richards |

I'm assuming Reid plays in round 1, though there's a suggestion he may be held back until round 2.
B: Williams Brown Langdon
HB: Ramsay Reid Sinclair
C: Varcoe Pendles Crisp
HF: Fasolo Cloke Sidey
F: Swanny Moore Gault
FOLL: Witts, De Goey, Treloar
IC: Adams, Greenwood, Maynard, Blair
EM: Grundy, McCaffer, Frost
If Gault maintains his form he will squeeze Grundy out of the side. We don't need another specialist ruckman as both Moore and Gault can pinch hit there as required.

I wouldn't let Sinclair run a bath, let alone across our HB line against the Swans. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

I prefer the hardness and long kicking of Maynard, but for round one at least, Sinclair deserves a crack based on his pre-season form. |

Surely Reid would be no chance for round 1 after not playing in the NAB cup. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

You're probably right, but I've picked him based on the comments of Bux, saying that he should be right for round one. However, I suspect it will be round two instead. |

look forward to seeing how he fares when in the midfield. could make for some most interesting viewing. |

Swap Witts for Gault and I'd probably agree. Still not convinced on Aish for R1 but he likely gets his chance as Elliott and Broomy aren't available.
E: Marsh, Maynard, Oxley.
Gault, White, and Langdon the other noticeable absentees. |

I'd leave out Williams. Looked rusty Saturday so another practice match won't hurt him. |

Marley had a slow build up into form in last year's pre season. I remember him being pretty quiet the first couple weeks. I think he needs to play seniors thoiugh. He'll get some match practice this Friday. _________________ Magpies love pies(Lol) |
