What I noticed was its was. Similar style of play ... Similar backline effort . Shit midfield control ... Yeah and same old style of forward entry ... Cloke.. If u can't bloody perform in vfl ... Adios to you.

Cloke cannot be blamed for the VFL. The ball has been in Essendon's forward line for most of the game & as usual the umps missed 2 x obvious frees in front of goal that he should have got. Even Buddy wouldn't have scored.

Don't blame the umps... The side is utter crap.. Even with all the senior players in it. Total lack of effort even worse is the lack of pride and determination to hit back. B
We have been hammered and what has Cloke done ... Nothing bad yes I know but nothing good either.

Cam... it's not like they over exerted themselves today was it?
They should be fit and firing for another go tomorrow.
And where is Tony Armstrong when you need him anyways?!

This match now takes on added importance (if that's possible) with today's thrashing of the VFL side.

If nothing else, both games should indicate which players are fair dinkum, and which players and coaching staff we can move-on very shortly.

Seems Brent McClogger is the first one to put up his hand to be delisted.

Hey, fellow Pies' fans, cheer up. Consider this:

You could be Richmond, PA or Freo supporters. Smile

Donny, I'd think those clubs will click into gear shortly.
With ours, we are close to rock bottom, and pending tomorrow's result, we might start attempting to penetrate clay....

Phillips did not play 2nd Half of VFL.

Another Late Change?

Those three teams I mentioned are closer to rock bottom than us. We finished well out of the 8. Two of them played finals and Port is on its second disasterous season.

Plus .... Port and Freo have (or had) messianic coaches. Hinkley's halo slipped last year but Lyon ?? Ouch !!

Yeah, none of them even looked like there were breaking a sweat....

So should we be worried that todays VFL result is an example of what the Essendon game style will do to our structures?

GOD I hope it isn't that clear cut.

Please.

Not blaming the umps at all but pointing out the umps did miss 2 frees to Cloke close to goal.

Well Freo maybe, let's see if they can salvage some pride and over run Carlton in the next hour. Ross LeToss... hehe. The Homer of AFL coaches.

Still, our current form might not get us home over Freo or Port for that matter. Time will tell I guess...

Yeah, but in a kinda weird way, it'd be fascinating to watch us get absolutely dismembered on the national stage. It's human to be fascinated with death and we're watching the death of a coach in HD.
