After last weeks win the crowd was 45000. Either the AFL want bums on seats or TV viewers. They can't have both. |

I thought a typical twilight game is a 4:40pm start?
The Sunday 3:20 timeslot is only there to serve one purpose and that's for Channel 7's footy coverage to finish as the 6pm news bulletin begins, but typically this would have been a 2:10pm start in 2011 and the years before that.
It's only with the introduction of live football (something I never supported or advocated for) that the timeslots have become worse over the years.
In Indigenous Round last year, we also played North Melbourne on a Sunday afternoon like today and the total crowd was roughly 43,000 which is about the same as today and last year at that stage we were 5-3 before beating North Melbourne so overall the crowd number wasn't that surprising to be honest. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

I just dont think many enjoy Sunday games at all. I dont think 45k is that bad, is it?
We have another Sunday game next week, followed by a Monday game before our Bye. Then we're back to Friday night, I think?? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Correct. Our Friday night match in round 14 is against Fremantle. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023
