nah mate… they have one of the older lists in the comp so they should be doing better really. They will fall away again pretty soon and we will be on the rise. Pies are one of the youngest teams so the future is looking good.
We will be fighting for flags against the Dogs, Swans and Giants in 2-5 years… and the Bloozers will be back down the other end of the ladder _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

No depth at all, you saw what happen when two players (Cas & Kruz) were out, got pumped by 10 goal against a basic Norf... they are just a novelty act at the moment and time will catch up with them...
Christ we have a total of 14 players unavailable, 4-6 in our top 12 yet we beat Cats & should have beaten Bulldogs.... lets see what Blooze do with massive injury toll. _________________ There is Collingwood and then the rest. |

May not have depth now. But it could become a destination club for free agents just on the basis of the coach alone. If they draft well over the next 3 years and pick up a few free agents they could be as good as anyone. Silvagni will be after Patten. That would set their fwd line up for 10 years. |

Bolton has turned that club around massively. It is proof that if you appoint a coach with a proper process and with extensive experience at a successful club, things can turn very quickly.
IMV Bolton would have this list in the top 6. |

The filth have had a bit of luck in theyre wins. We were undermanned and flat after getting beat by the eagles. We have softened up the pussycats for them. Essendon are crap and freo are pathetic. In fairness they have good players in Cripps, Casboult and squibbs has been better for them. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

Said preseason, to the mirth of many, that they'd recruited really well and would rebound quicker than people expect. Still a ways off playing finals but a good trade/draft period this year and they'll be in the pack fighting for a spot all too soon. |

They had 10 players over 27 years of age on the park against Geelong. Those 10 include 3 number 1 and 2 number 2 draft picks. Be interesting to see how they go replacing Simpson, Walker, Murphy, Thomas, Gibbs, Kreuzer and Everitt, amongst others, over the next couple of years.
Geelong had a higher average age but only 7 players over 27. They also can expect a difficult time as they replace Enright, Bartel, Lonergan, Mackie, Taylor, Selwood and Hawkins in short time.
By contrast, Collingwood only put 6 players over 27 on the field last Sunday. Pendlebury and Reid will be difficult to replace when they go but the other 4 (Toovey, Varcoe, White and Greenwood) are not in that upper echelon. |

Spot on, they beat us by a miserable 15 points and we had 14 players out injured that day, most key players, and they still struggled to put us away. Boy Bolton is on a brief honeymoon, bit like Turnbull was, but it wont last, Daisy wont be recontracted on his massive salary, and don't tell me him being the highest paid Bluescum player doesn't rile some down there ! Their backline is shithouse, forwards not much chop, only Cripps, Gibbs and Kruezer, Murphy are real A graders, the rest are downhill skiers. Give us a full and uninjured team, and we would poleaxe the blue bastards, I have no doubt of that ! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Boy Bolton beat us with 14 players out, narrowly, boy Bolton beat a shit dons, with half their team out, beat Freo yet to win a single game, fell in against Port when Port were playing crap, and beat the Cats after we had knocked the tar right outa the Pussies. Boy Bolton the laughing gas one, is on a media honeymoon, but will come right back to the field when the business end of the season comes on, just wish we could play the swines with our best team in, wed smash em by 80 points easy. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.
