| Post subject: VFL Results more Important then AFL for 2nd Half of Season |  |

Well with the AFL Team have no Chance of Making Finals. The Results for me don't mean anything. We might beat the Weak Sides but most Likely get Smashed by the Real Good Sides.
So the Results for AFL Games don't really Matter Much anymore. Be more looking for Young Players who Could Be Real Players for us in the Future.
Players Like:
-Aish
-Moore
-Marsh
-Grundy
-Treloar
-De Goey
-Phillips
-Crocker
So watching how they go for rest of the 2016 Season
But in the VFL we sit 4th on the Ladder. So we are a Chance of Winning the VFL Flag. So the VFL Results mean a Lot More then the AFL Results now.

Strangely enough I have a feeling we have a slight chance of making the finals this year.
I think we will easily win this week and then there is GWS .
Now that is a huge hurdle.
Win that and the finals are a chance albeit small, but still a chance.

We still have a chance and I reckon this year we are building not falling away as we have in the previous 2 years.

With the injury list we have that may as well be 500/1.
Should beat the filth but GWS? We won't even be close. (And I'm going over for it  )

that said, it's the performances rather than w/l results that are important.

If they managed to beat GWS it would be a hell of a surprise to me. Much as I would like to see it, it is very unlikely to occur. GWS is sitting 4th on the ladder, having beaten Hawthorn, Geelong and Sydney at home. They have their injury problems too, but if Mumford remains fit I see them finishing top two and not having to play a final in Melbourne before the GF.
Two of their unmissed cast offs are now in the best 3 players at our club. |

AFL results are more important than the VFL. Period.
We want to set ourselves to win every game we can in the AFL and those we can't win we need to compete hard and learn from. That's the main game and the reason we have a VFL team in the first place.

Both will be important in the long term – more experience for younger players, seeing how some of the regulars go, etc. But a VFL flag would certainly be a silver lining on a crap year.
