If Freo is stupid enough to throw a second rounder at us..see you later!

It's either Williams or Toovey in the backline, until Sinclair, Ramsey or Scharenberg are deemed fir to return to the fold.
Or Frost returns from exile. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Yeah I hate how nimble and agile he is. How good a tackler he is.
How he hardly ever gets beaten in contested ball.
Sigh...
Do u guys watch a different game to everyone else? Lol
Name another defender who carry's the ball through the lines and isn't a midfielder? |

All great attributes, which is what will keep outsiders interested.
However his ball use from the back half, particularly his inability to be able to do next to anything when forced on his right foot is where he lets himself down.
If we can snag a second rounder, it will bolster our draft period nicely. |

As to the premise of Burnsy's post, I agree. If Freo or the Weagles make a ridiculously generous offer then I'd happily accept.
As to Marley, at his best he is battling for a best 22 spot on merit with Sinclair and Ramsay as a small defender. We haven't seen anywhere near his best this year and he's getting games off the back of injuries to his main 2 rivals for the senior berth. Think Langdon and Maynard are in a different conversation. Scharenberg needs to get through a preseason and get back on the park before even being considered but completely different players and roles within the team. |

When Williams ignored the easy lateral kick to Reid at half back in the last quarter, then proceeded to miss his intended target 20m down the line by 2m over his head straight to an Eagle, which then led to a mark inside 50 and resultant goal to hit the front for WC...it was close to the last straw for me. So FRUSTRATING! _________________ Est. 2002 |

I disagree. If it's the one I am thinking of, the disposal was done with extraordinary precision - Shuey was in the hands of the trainers and couldn't move, so it had to be an extra special kick by Williams to pick him out in a way that meant he didn't have to run for the ball. |
