Not printable on this site I'm afraid, but I guess you could wave goodbye to him in advance from me.

With Adams out injured, I expect Crocker to come back in.

I'd move De Goey into the midfield replacing Adams and play Crocker on the forward line where De Goey lined up last week.

As expected.

Youthful enthusiasm and kids is the only way to go for us, though I do hope Swan stays on, we do need a few senior players.

Not a fan, based on what I have seen to date. He's an ok kid, and good luck to him, but I cannot see too much impact in the games he has played.

I have a lot of time for Crocker. I think he's going to be a great player for us going forward. It's going to take time. We need to be patient with him, but the only way he's going to get better is by pumping senior games into him, as we're been doing with Maynard.

Bit harsh mate, jeesus, even judd and hodge were not instant stars, takes time you know, game time. Confused

Sure, and I hope you and BIFC are right. I don't see it, but clearly the coach does, and good luck to the kid.

the decision to drop Cloke last week was pathetic and retrograde, and Cloke responded to it by kicking 5 in the VFL. One is yet again led to wonder about the intelligence/sanity of our coach and his selection panel puppets in this latest decision to leave out Cloke again, were it not for the stage of the season and the view that Crocker needs the opportunity for senior games.
However, because of the random and totally unpredictable nature of the decision making emanating from the higher levels of our coaching hierarchy, it is impossible to determine whether this is his true motive, or in fact whether it is yet another nail in the coffin for Travis Cloke's career at our club.
It is absolutely impossible to discern/trust the motivations and choices of Buckley, because all year they have been incomprehensible and arbitrary.

Watching him in the VFL earlier in the season, he was quick enough, a reasonable mark for his size, showed good ball-handling skills and had a beautiful kick for goal, both close in and over distance. I think he probably came up to the seniors too early and would have been better for playing the entire season in the VFL but we have been fresh out of medium forwards for much of the season, so he was introduced by necessity. He was OK in the first couple of games he played in the seniors but then, like all first-year kids, he fell away quite quickly. He offers a fair bit but some more development time is needed.
