By the look of the sports coverage in the foxtel mag for 2002, it looks like foxtel won't be covering the WC. Is Optus showing it? Or has SBS got it back. This sucks. How do they expect us to be able to afford both cable TV providers? Let it be on SBS!!

you would think that it would at least be free to air. the WC is quite a significant sporting event, like the olympics.

Yeah you would have thought that with Euro 2000 aswell but it wasn't on free to air. Maybe channel 7 has the WC. But you'd think there would be more advertising about it if it's true.

9 has it i believe. they have 16 of the matches and foxtel has the full 32. dunno how they can fit it in with the footy and stuff, it will be interesting.....
