We might be 1-4, the Carlton game is 50-50. But as far as I'm concerned, thats no better than 0-5. If our only win by then is against Carlton, its time for both to go.
But they wont. Buckley wont resign, Eddie wont sack him, and Eddie wont resign.
43 Games to go. |
Totally agree, although out of the two, I would say Buckley has more integrity and would be more likely to walk. Just checked and we have Richmond after Essendon so could possibly be 1-5 or 0-6... oh boy.
If that is the case, my suggestion would be to ditch these two and get a caretaker coach in (who would be good?), play the kids and try to build some confidence in our players.
Hang tough everyone, trying my best to stay optimistic but think we are in for more strife this year. |

Wouldn't put it past him to say that. He only listens to sycophants or anyone who'll stroke his ego.

Guys, relax. d4p was joking: look at the date. If you look at the news, you'll see it was a riff on someone else's real "dead to me" statement.
On this thread: a new poll (same question) might be interesting. (I don't think people can change votes, so the existing poll is a fixed historical result.) |

What about President Assad?
Can be slightly ruthless at times |
At least Assad would create a fun atmosphere. It would be a gas... |

Eddie, like Daryl Somers has past his used by date, and like Daryl, he can't see it. Eddie trying to re-live the Footy Show's best days reeks of Daryl trying to bring back Hey Hey.
We need Red to gong Eddie and bring his reign to a close. Otherwise I fear seeing Ed singing the Music Man. |
