The most sickening thing about all the reports from this game on Australian TV and Print media, is that they implied Beckham played the game of his life and was man of the match.

He sent in a cross that was converted by a bloke who has never scored before (you may even suggest the ball was intended for someone else, but missed the target). He then seized upon a loose ball to deliver a beautiful pass that RVN converted...80 minutes later!!!

In between, Beckham treated us to his full repetoire: misguided passes, inability to dribble, inability to complete simple passing movements, shitting himself when accosted by an opponent, inability to take on a defender and beat him, etc, etc...

He really is the most overrated player the game has seen.
