What a crap choice of song.
It's too slow. Maybe they want to put every to sleep so they don't have to see the first quarter gaping from GWS.
FFS, just play Thunderstruck or something like that.
Good to see the club continue to make A1 decisions. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Not their best track...any love for 'Don't Tread On Me'? Given Metallica would be keen to give it away by all accounts.... _________________ "The last thing he expected WAS THE FIRST THING HE GOT!!!!!"

Nothing Else Matters is a good song from the Black album.
Unfortnately Collingwood are playing like the "Load" album.

Seriously WHY? Great song but has absolutely nothing to do with inspiring the game day crowd and/or players??
Metallica are known for their up-tempo early days thrash metal ala Kill Em All and Ride the Lightning, their pre-grunge heavy riffage ala Master of Puppets and Justice for All. The Black album is a classic but why choose a song that is slower and more rock ballad than grunt, and has nothing to do with footy. It's about mateship and living hard times on the rock 'n roll road. That's a long bow to draw to aussie rules.
How much did they pay for the rights? Just a dumb idea. Up-tempo high speed music would be better to inspire players and crowd not lull them into a calm state before play.
Sad but True. I would rather Carpe Diem Baby, Better Than You, Broken Beaten and Scarred, St Anger, Blackened, Frantic tick tock... _________________ Most of my favourite bands start with "M" - Mars Volta, Mastodon, Megadeth, Metallica, Midnight Oil, Misfits...except King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard ~ |

I guess this all came out of the review. Reasons why N Buckley isn't supported.
