Dunno why, but im thinking Tigers, MCG, our home too, get Treloar and Howe back, tigers just fell in today, very lucky. They will be hot favourites, we hit em with every bloody thing, kitchen sink, and see what happens. Weagles in Perth, with Darling, Kennedy is more daunting, is it not, though, the Deeees did beat em there. !

Richmond was alot like us today, just fell in with one eye on the finals.

Still want the Eagles, so that we can actually knock the Tigers OUT when we play them coz I reckon we might only be able to beat them once.

West Coast at the MCG is the ideal preference.

However, I'm not bothered about who we play. I'm just excited to be back in the finals after five years.

So the choice now is between a second half comeback from Hawthorn and a likely 4th place finish to face the yardstick of the competition in Richmond or a Sydney victory which will see a probable away final against West Coast or a chance at a home final against the same opposition.

After today I don't relish the thought of heading back west to face a better team but the chance at a home final until the Brisbane West Coast game concludes will make tomorrow more interesting.

I sort of lean towards the theory that we're capable of beating Richmond once this finals series but not twice so we either beat them week 1 and hope they don't make it to the GF or we lose and set out on the long road to the last day in September.

Playing Richmond if only because it'll allow more supporters to attend (assuming we don't finish 2nd) is the best outcome but I'm bracing for West Coast away.

I reckon we'd have a slightly better chance of beating Richmond at the G, than WC at their home ground.
Either match would be a very big ask, considering the loss of two permanent defenders during the season.

I don’t think we can play West Coast at the G, if they lose I imagine they fall below Hawthorn so we have now 2 options, WC in Perth or Hawks at the G...
