Yeah, that was amazing. Have we introduced a new dimension? _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

If the umpiring is like that all season You may as well give us the cup now. We were awesome; make no mistake and they missed Rance but gee, we had the rub of the green from the ump all night, which is rare. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

Yep, Darcy was magnificent tonight. A remarkable performance. And Langdon was terrific as well. Our whole defence was fantastic. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Don't agree that we had it all night. But that escape for Sidey was quite incredible. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Howe, Crisp and Roughead had 41 marks between them.Mihocek made up for a very poor game last week. He had 21 disposals and 10 inside 50s, 15 kicks and 10 marks to go with his 2 goals.
In fact, we had 7 players who took 10 or more marks. |

It was extraordinary how we massaged the ball out of the backline. As I mentioned in the game thread, I think it may have been Buck's answer to the messy way we came out of the backline last week, when we just wanted to play on and dispose of it as quickly as possible.
I thought it was a brilliant game plan. Still allowed for run on football when it presented. So impressive. |

I thought that Greenwood (aka the Pig!) was important tonight too, because he added some grunt to the mid-field. We need that, as evidenced by its lack last week. Too many sprinters otherwise.
Can't wait to see what Tay will bring. |

Late last season I thought we'd end up losing the GF, most likely to Richmond but anyway we all know what ended up happening there... same result wrong opponent... (and early that year I didn't give us a hope at all.. specially after the 1st few games).
This year after seeing that display (and with a little luck) imo our midfield is so deep that barring injury we ARE going to do it this year, we're actually going to win the flag. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |
