Selected to play his first AFL game, unfortunately for Melbourne, but still congrats are in order.
Star of our VFL team, just had too many similar ahead of him to get on our AFL list, I hope he makes the most of his opportunity.
Congrats Marty.

Yeah. Good call.
Was a fantastic player in the VFL and would have been very handy if we could have played him in past seasons.
Pitty its at Melbourne.

Surprised no-one’s posted about this yet – Hore was the last-minute hero for Melbourne last night, kicking the equalising goal (apparently his first in the AFL) with thirty seconds to play:

Watched that, it was an amazing last minute of play. Shame about it being for the dreamons but was very happy for Marty. Loved his work for us in the vfl

| Well, they are paying for it big time with their injuries (Hibberd the latest major one with a broken collarbone). QB's a bit far away. It'd be better if we played them in two weeks' time. |

I’m genuinely happy for him that he’s been given a chance to play AFL. Wish it had been for us, but I don’t begrudge him one bit for taking the opportunity he was given. Unless he plays well against us, in which case he can get #%^*ed.

If only there was a mid season draft in previous years.... But we had our chance to get him in the rookie draft I suppose. And I guess he'd still be playing VFL if he were here.
