We'll have to see how we go over the next month to understand if tonight holds real meaning. A dirty old performance that we had coming. I'm prepared to let this one slide but this cannot become a regularity. Our midfield brigade needs to have some serious meetings with our ruckman because they are just not working well with the most dominant ruckman this club has ever had and it is something that we have to sort out to go to the next level.

I want to be fair to Norf. They were very very good. Huge pressure around the ball. May not be on the scoreboard but that is the biggest flogging we’ve copped since the last round of 2011.
So many players not at AFL standard and I am really scared that we haven’t debuted anyone.
The next 4 games are all tough, Hawks and then 3 contenders. If we roll out this puss again we will lose 5 in a row and completely out of contention.
We will know in 2 weeks if we are a sniff.
Also to the people here with blindfolds on, this has been coming for months and if we don’t turn the trajectory around we are bloody cooked.

It was very much like the 39 points we put up against Essendon in round 17 2014.

We've had a few games around 40 points but recently, we scored 45 Vs Geelong in round 8 last year in a 21 point loss.

Too many players just going (some not even going).

The hard running and tackling isn’t there like it was last year.

There are many facets to why we have played so poorly this year and will be interesting to see how the players respond to this putrid performance.

The midfield were thrashed.
The most scary thing was the way north midfield
just brushed off any tackles with impunity.
