Surprisingly enough it's Fox news, minus Hannity and Tucker (Very Pro Trump) who have provided the most balanced coverage. They're establishment Republican types, "Never Trump" fans but still conservative and not pandering to the DNC or trying to necessarily 'bring down' Trump. Fox would've loved Jeb or Ted Cruz, Trump they were openly hostile to for a while. |

I don’t think there’s been a more apt representation of current mainstream US political discourse than these two posts: liberal cable-news hysteria vs taking Trump’s spin as gospel. Both completely devoid of any connection to reality. Maybe this is the only possible end result of extreme partisanship – obsessive echo chambers with no capacity for objectivity or recognising inconvenient facts. And the most laughable thing is that none of us here are even Americans! |
I quite like how Trump can induce mouth frothing hysteria in otherwise sane people, then again it seems to be the era for it. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

That being said...it appears much of the mouth-throthing, tearing your hair out in exasperation is coming from the Stable-Genius's own side of politics!
“Does he need to be so unhinged? He says the dumbest things,” said one Republican senator who vented frustration with the president’s outbursts on Twitter and in front of the White House press corps.
“Yeah, there needs to be a coordinated response to everything. There needs to be a coordinated effort to just shut up,” the senator said.

I think a lot of people would rather engage in hysteria than confront the disturbing fact that an extraordinarily ill-equipped grandiose narcissist was granted access to the most powerful position in the land, and is now shitting on the carpets and rolling in it as predicted.
Talk of hysteria is a bit of whataboutery that will soon give way to a wailing and gnashing of teeth, just as it did with Bush. Far better to point to the excitedness of others than admit you made a monumental arse of yourself and the nation by voting for Trump. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Oh yeah, I remember when Trump said he was going to "drain the swamp". That went well, didn't it? _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |
