The League Cup Semi Final matches are now completed as Chelsea and Liverpool advance to the 2023 League Cup Final.

Chelsea will be looking for their first silverware under Mauricio Pochettino and the new owners of Todd Boehly/Clearlake Capital. Their last silverware was the UEFA Super Cup in 2021 when Thomas Tuchel was coaching them.

Liverpool will be looking to expand their trophy cabinet under outgoing manager, Jurgen Klopp. Their last silverware was in 2022 in the FA Cup Final against Chelsea.

Both sides previously played one another in the League Cup Final in 2022, with Liverpool winning on penalties. Chelsea beat Liverpool in the final back in 2005.

Liverpool are looking to win a 10th League Cup trophy, while Chelsea are vying for their 6th League Cup trophy and their first since 2015.
