Well done Pies. Beating Carlton is always good especially at Scumsucker Park. Great match, that first quarter was something else. The Pies ball movement was so fast.

Finally beating the scum in the AFLW

The standard has really improved.

Go Pies

2nd win for the season, 6.3.39 to 3.6.24.

I watched the first half, missed most of the 3rd quarter getting dinner ready, then watched the final 10 minutes of the last.

I've been a critic of AFLW, mainly the skill level and it's attractiveness as a spectacle. Well, credit where it's due, they've improved.

Main improvements to my view would be:

Better skills in general. Marking, kicking to a target
Improved decision making

There's still a way to go, the tackling is white hot and the skills in general aren't up to the same level, but they're getting there.

I might just watch some more games.

Livingston at full back is very reliable: utterly blanketed Harris of Carlton but needs some media training. When asked how she beat her on TV Livingston said that making sure she (Harris) doesn’t win in the air being Harris’s strength, “after that she’s rubbish”!! 😃😃🤭

I know the girls of our club get scant mention here and that’s your choice

But when I see Black and White crush the Princes Park mob it could be Jacks
Or Snap or UNO I am happy cos I totally hate the Scum

Anyway that’s what I’ve got to say

There is an AFLW forum Bazboy. Try there but overall you’re right there is scant attention. Great win by the Pies. The standard has really improved, great win and great spectacle.

Their first coach couldn’t teach a pig to be dirty

The new guy has turned them into a football side

Actually the word used was "useless".

Already lots of media driven angst, gotta take every opportunity.

Yeah, looks like Pies, whether male or female, can't avoid making headlines. Harford has hit back:

'Borderline garbage': Blues coach bites back at Pie's Harris gibe

Refreshingly honest

Better than the

"Yeah, nah, yeah, take it one week at a time, following the process and not get nutted in the clearances"
