I've no idea why but the Vic. v. Tas. match starts 2 days later than the other 2.

Scenarios:

WA can't pass Victoria, even with a big win over NSW. The Blues can't lose top spot.

If Q'land wins, it'll regain second, at least until the Vic/Tas match finishes. If that transpires, the Vics will need to win.

If Q'land AND Victoria both lose, Tasmania will move up to second.

Any other possibilities ?

'Borderline alcoholic': Siddle admits leading 'double life' during Test career

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/cricket/borderline-alcoholic-siddle-admits-leading-double-life-during-test-career-20200311-p54938.html

"Siddle said it was not uncommon for him to have blackouts during his marathon drinking sessions, during which he would consume "in excess of 25, 30 drinks" and recalled how he once drove for 50 minutes after a day of partying.

The Victorian seamer said he narrowly escaped an alcohol-related scandal during the 2009 Ashes tour when he was filmed during a physical confrontation with a local in Leeds."

"Graf said Klinger was also in the mix to coach the Victorian state squad, for interim Lachie Stevens - having replaced McDonald - does not want the role.
...

"I have had numerous discussions (with Stevens). The players really like him and love the way he goes about his work. But he feels at the moment that he is not really thinking about the head coach role. He is happy to be the interim and look at who else could come into that position," Graf said.

Skipper Peter Handscomb suggested the Vics would not be after an authoritative figure.

"We are very lucky - our squad is very player driven. Players basically say what they need and they (CV) go out of their way to get that. Then the coaches facilitate that. Lachie has been doing a great job," he said."

"The final round of the Marsh Sheffield Shield has been cancelled, but a decision on whether to press ahead with the final in 12 days' time has yet to be made, Cricket Australia announced today.

The tenth and final round of this summer's Shield competition is the latest impact on cricket from the spreading COVID-19 pandemic that has seen a slew of sports either cancelled, suspended with uncertain returns, or moved behind closed doors as the planet grapples with the public health implications.

The decision to call off the final round of Shield matches was sparked by a desire to reduce travel for players, support staff and officials, CA said"
