Funny memories of the year we were asked to take the jacket to Sydney and the media named Paul Joffa Jnr. He didn't live that nickname down for years.

I cant see Joffa staying in Fiji long, soon as the real footy season starts, he loves the Magpies, to the core, hes going to miss em bigtime, its part of his DNA.

Joffa is living in a remote village in Fiji. He is still posting on his Facebook page every now and again. The village is very basic with few amenities and significant poverty. I do not think that they have much in the way of electricity as he goes to bed at 7pm daily. He has to walk an hour from the village to get internet and telephone coverage. He has asked for donations and any of his Facebook contacts have sent over basics such as rice etc. By mail for the villagers. He claims that he has cut his food intake by 75% and has lost weight from that and the lifestyle he has chosen.
He seems to be happy with his choices and I hope it works out for him.

Fair enough for him, i guess, but trouble is living in that kind of place, is the health system would be very poor, and no near hospitals, or Doctors. what if he had a medical emergency, needed medical attention, hes no young fella now, things can happen at his age. Looks,like he has abandoned Collingwood, then, for the foreseable future, which is a bit sad, but its his choice for sure, its up to him now.

He will be missed, yes, perhaps he reallised this is a weird Covid 19 season, with games with NO fans and no crowds, and that put him off footy for this season ? Games with no fans, is ludicrous, so silly. I guess its up to Joffa, hey, its his life.
