I cannot remember which commentator said it or what game they said it in, but it went something like "Alan Didak played AFL games at only six (6) grounds in his whole AFL career".
I assume they would have been:
1. MCG
2. That other stadium in Melbourne that changes names.
3. Olympic Stadium in Sydney
4. Gabba
5. The one in Adelaide
6. Subi.
My favourite trivia about Dids is that "he is the only AFL player ever, that played in three (3) consecutive games of which they were all grand finals". _________________ Waiting for Premiership 15 ... amended now to 16 |

Not Didak related. but didn't Collingwood win another pre season comp too back in around 2014 or 2015 I think we did we played the Bulldogs and won at the then Etihad stadium. It was around 2014 I feel. In 2011 it was called the Telstra Dome. |

No. The last time we had a pre season winner was in 2013, which was Brisbane.
Since 2014, pre season matches have been held but without an eventual winner. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

God! I do remember slapping Essendon in the 2011 Pre-season, but I didn’t think Dids played. Was it the Replay when he injured himself? I’ll never forget the magnificent goal towards the end when he read the bounce and snapped it on an angle like he was playing kick to kick in the park. He was a helluva player, as great to watch as Daics, Daisy, Swanny, & Pendles. To think we had all but 1 of those 5, plus Beamer, Steelo & Kraks in the same side! No wonder we kicked our highest annual total, & made our best ever percentage that year. Also our first back to back Minor Prems since 69-70.
(I’ll never believe that the idiot “succession” didn’t cost us at least 2 flags & some incredible players. I MAY have mentioned that once before).
God I wish the footy was on today! Even VFL girls long as they wear B&W! _________________ "If at first you dont succeed...
