COLLINGWOOD'S FIXTURE
Round 2: Thursday, June 11 - Collingwood v Richmond, MCG, 7.40pm
Round 3: Saturday, June 20 - Collingwood v St Kilda, MCG, 4.35pm
Round 4: Friday, June 26 - Greater Western Sydney v Collingwood, Giants Stadium, 7.50pm
Round 5: Friday, July 3 - Collingwood v Essendon, MCG, 7.50pm
So we should at least be playing to the usual number of Giants supporters at Giants Stadium |

Well if we could be W4/L1 by the end of round 5, then we'd be well placed I'd think.

Bro Laz! Well, Richmond being the reigning premier is the only obvious one.
Essendon a chance to push us if they are injury free, and on one of their random self-belief patches which occur a couple of times per season.
Really, we should be 5/0; however it will depend on how well the players prepared themselves away from the club during ISO.
If they weren't doing sufficient sprint work in that period, then their pre-season fitness might be laboring; cue the soft-tissue injuries. We will see....

Mark me down as a stupid optimistic supporter with possibly unrealistic expectations but I think we can be 5 - 0. Probability about 80%.

Nothing wrong with that optimism; if the player's preparation was regimented during ISO, as it should have been, then we are every chance.
I'm thinking this season's progress will be best assessed in blocks of four weeks?

Update.
Round 6 vs Brisbane will be on Friday, July 10.
Rounds 7-9 will all be played in Perth against Geelong, West Coast and Fremantle. What round we play each team is yet to be determined.

This shit is a joke! It allows the AFL to give us the best sides of the season so far.
Before they announced the first lot, I guessed that we’d be playing:
Ri. GWS. Ess. Haw.
For this next lot I expect: Port. West Coast. Lions, Hawks...
